Our Apostolic Works
Our pastoral work is thus dedicated to the “wounded in life” according to the expression of Saint John Paul II (the accompaniment of mothers of modest social status, daughter-mothers, children and young people on the street), to youth education, catechesis for children as well as adults, care for the sick and the elderly. The scene of the Wedding at Cana automatically invites the MJMC, who derive their name from it, to special attention to PASTORAL CARE OF THE HUMAN AND CHRISTIAN FAMILY.
Such pastoral work is made of the multidimensional study of the family reality, the basis of all human society, of catechesis on the sacrament of Christian marriage and the apostolate with couples in crisis, elderly couples, the generational problem. We thus have: –
- Health centers
- Primary and secondary schools
- Social centers for literacy, education for life, apprenticeship in trades for mothers and young mothers
- Computer centers for young people
- Reception centers for street children and young people - a reception center for the elderly
- Reception centers for street children and young people - a reception center for the elderly
Thus the members of our religious Institute are asked to develop and exploit to the maximum, by adequate training in all areas, the talents that the Lord has put in them for this spiritual, human and social promotion of the people to whom they are sent.
Currently we are present in DRCongo, RCongo, Tanzania, Italy, Belgium, France, Cuba.
